“I didn’t believe I could come this far” – Single dad celebrates raising his children alone

A Nigerian man identified as Salman Duke has taken to social media to celebrate himself for raising his two kids alone.Taking to Twitter the single dad who’s a media aide to Babajide Obanikoro, member house of rep, shared photos with his lovely kids saying he didn’t believe he could come this far, as he did a lot to make it happen.


He went further to say that he always thanks God each time he realizes he raised the kids alone.

He wrote;

“Each time I realise I raised these two (2) alone as a single father, I always say “Alhamdulilah” 🙏🏿. I didn’t believe I could come this far, I did a lot to make this happen, even if it’s enslaving myself, I do it to see their smiles. Today I’m happy. I know I haven’t fail God raising them. I’m so grateful Lord. Alhamdulilah 🙏🏿”
