Kate Henshaw Slams Critics Of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo Over Wife’s Death
After several criticisms of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo hours after his wife, Ibidun Ighodalo died of cardiac arrest, Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has reacted.
Shortly after Ibidun died, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church found time to attend the burial ceremony held by another family.
At the event, he said, “At 2 am this morning, I received a call that shattered my entire life.
“We do not have control over most things in life, how you were born, which womb you came from and your race.
“Life is a deep mystery no one even as wise as Solomon can tell you they understand
“There is going to come a time when we will see clearly as Jesus sees.”
The pastor’s composure at another’s funeral led to mixed reactions on social media. One lady, Rebecca Roberts, said that in western countries, the pastor would have been investigated by the police. She also said that the pastor’s behaviour was very off.Twitter users criticized the clergyman who they say ought to be mourning his wife instead of what he did.

I am being schooled on empathy and I totally understand everyone alternative opinion on this, but, I still feel a type of way about that and would want my own husband to act differently if I suddenly passed away and I understand where everyone is coming from!

I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THE PASTOR TO CANCEL HIS ENGAGEMENT RIGHT AWAY. HIS WIFE JUST DIED , NOT HIS CAT. THE EVENT PEOPLE WOULD UNDERSTAND AND FIND A REPLACEMENT TO COVER THEIR FUNERAL. I AM SO SORRY. IBIDUN DESERVED THAT MUCH. BUT .......... ONLY GOD KNOWS WHO SERVES HIM , SO WE HAVE TO LET HIM BE THE JUDGE. RIP BEAUTIFUL SOUL.
